Walk Me to the Window

I brought this song into Jim Brady, it was almost 7 minutes long, with orchestrated passages, I had a cool violin part, I wanted all the bells and whistles... ten harmony tracks basically "Laurize it"
... we added the drums and the bass after my scratch guitar. I have to say I was disappointed that Ed completely copied the picking style of the scratch track I did and made it sound like me... I wanted it to sound like Ed! Jim Brady usually lets me have my way except on this one... and Ed agreed with Jim, then Ralph chimed in... yeah it sounds better without anything added at all. So there's no drums, no bass, no extra guitar leads, it's exactly how I brought it in. I'm not used to that... my naked voice all alone with an acoustic guitar...except for the length of the song Jim said it should be shorter, a lot shorter and whacked it up... he said if you've ever trusted me... trust me on this one...

Laurie Larson: Words & Music, Vocals

I thought I knew how my life would unfold,
Many stories never told
But then you took away my fear
You made it clear, so clear

I haven’t seen you,
Hard to believe it’s true
But I can feel you
Making me new

It wasn’t for me to know
What will our future show
Walk me to the window
Walk me to the window
Walk me to the window

Little by little, closer to the vision
I’ll have to make my decision
Going through life blind is no way to be
Open my eyes, let me see

Walk me to the window
Walk me to the window

All the things I knew what can I give to you
Walk me to the window
Walk me to the window
