Demo Spin Radio listeners voted "Walk Me to the Window" and "1 Realm" as top 5 Star Tracks

In 2009 Twirl Radio named Endless Thank You Loop Song of the Year!

The 51st Annual GRAMMY awards, as voted on by THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF RECORDING ARTS & SCIENCES, INC.® listed Laurie Larson's "A Striking Resemblance" on the entry ballot for Best Pop Vocal Album & Album Of The Year.

The title track to "A Striking Resemblance" was in the November 2008 Relix Magazine CD Sampler. Laurie was in back to back issues of Global Rhythm Magazine this year. From A Striking Resemblance, A Call to Action was in the Jan/Feb Collector's CD, and Utopia from Aquila was in the March 08 Collector's CD. 1 Realm from A Striking Resemblance was on their June 08 Collector's CD.

Laurie played "The Power of Prog" festival in New York, June 29th, 2008, other acts included The Rocket Scientists and John Ford of the Strawbs. Here is a review of her performance by Mike Flavin of USA Progressive Music:
"Opening up day three was a solo acoustic set by Arizona singer/songwriter Laurie Larson. In addition to being one of the founders and organizers of the Progressive Rock Hall of Fame, she is also a talented performer in her own right. Her music is atmospheric and haunting at times, but not so serious that she couldn't have a little fun accompanying herself on violin while the guitar played through an audio looping pedal. Only slightly hampered by some feedback, it was a pretty impressive feat that I had never seen before. Blessed with a voice that moves effortlessly from low & sultry to an angelic high range, it was a perfect musical wakeup for Sunday morning."

Laurie is in the CMJ New Music Monthly NMR#150. My Time Will Arrive is a featured track on the CD sampler! Aquila is also featured on CMJ's NMR#974.
